Alert: Unauthorized Palmpay Transaction Following BVN And NIN Update - Stay Vigi

Dear Community Members,I am writing to bring to your attention a concerning incident related to my recent account update with PalmPay. Yesterday, I diligently updated my Bank Verification Number (BVN) and National Identity Number (NIN) with PalmPay—a routine security measure. However, today, I received an alarming notification regarding an unauthorized transaction.Transaction Details:- Amount: ₦9,700.00- Date: May 21, 2024, at 6:36:45 AM- Recipient: JOSHUA CHINAEMEREM OHANUSI- Sender: xxxxxxxxxxxxx- Transaction ID: 0328nfl-79802- Session ID: 0033245015000.64400054642005I did not initiate this transaction, and it appears to be the work of fraudsters operating within the banking system. The funds were transferred without my consent, and I find this deeply concerning.Immediate Steps Taken:1. I contacted PalmPay to report the unauthorized transaction.2. I am closely monitoring my accounts for any further suspicious activity.3. I have also filed a report with the relevant authorities.Additional Information:The fraudsters seem to be targeting my GTBank and First Bank accounts specifically because I linked my NIN and BVN to PalmPay. Please be aware of this pattern and exercise extra vigilance.Community Vigilance:I urge all of you to remain vigilant. If you have recently updated your BVN or NIN with any financial institution, be cautious. Monitor your accounts regularly, report any unauthorized transactions promptly, and stay informed about potential risks.Let us stand together against fraudulent practices by sharing our experiences and taking collective action. If you encounter similar incidents, please share them in this forum to protect others.Stay safe and informed!Sincerely,
