Customs Seize Sex Enhancing Drugs, Indian Hemp Worth N126m

The Kebbi State Command of the Nigeria Customs Servicehas intercepted 39 lumps of Indian hemp, 300 wraps ofdiazepam tablets and 57 packs of sex enhancement drugs(black diamond).Other seized items include 212 bags of foreign parboiledrice, 10,025 litres of premium motor spirit, 250 bales ofused clothing, 150 expired powdered milk, 50 pieces ofused tyres, 78 rolls of Diclofenac Sodium, 10 Jerry cans ofvegetables oils, 20 cartons of foreign spaghetti and 20bags of foreign sugar with a combined duty paid valueworth over N126m.While briefing journalists at the command headquarters inBirnin Kebbi, the Customs Area Controller, Iheanacho ErnestOjike, said the suspected smugglers of the items wereintercepted at the Kebbi border areas as the illicit drugs arebeing moved to their destinations.He said the seizures were possible based on the resilientand courageous efforts of the operation teams, intelligenceunit, joint border patrol team and collaboration with othersister agencies in the state.The lumps of Indian hemp were handed over to the NigeriaDrug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) while the seizeddiazepam tablets were handed over to NAFDAC.https://dailytrust.com/customs-seize-sex-enhancing-drugs-indian-hemp-worth-n126m/mynd44 oam4j lalasticlala seun nlfpmod
