Female Graduate Leads 7-man Robbery Gang

A seven-man robbery gang led by a woman,FAITH ELEFAN, has been smashed bythe Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, inLagos, southwest Nigeria.The robbery suspects were arrested whileattempting to rob TitoGbado Hotel, BusStop, Jaiye, Lagos.In chat with P.M.NEWS, Faith Elefan said shearranged for the guns with Friday Odeh, a.k.a. Stubborn, they were to usefor the operation, which she claimed was aland matter, whereas the police said thattheir mission was allegedly to rob a malecustomer of the hotel, who sells fertilizer, ofabout N8 million.Other suspected members of the gang are: JUDE OYELAMI, VICKY ELEFAN 28, SAMUEL ELEFAN 27, 27, Oyichicho, 24Ignatius Okeredi, 27, Michael Madu, 52, andOkechukwu Jerome, 28, and a yet-to-beidentified member who is at large.The alleged robbery operation, according tothe police, was foiled by some staff of thehotel, who promptly made a distress call toSARS operatives.The law enforcement agents were said tohave surrounded the hotel, and latersearched all its occupants. It was in theprocess that two locally made guns and 12live ammunition were recovered from therobbery suspects.“We received a distress call from a staff ofBolatito Hotel, who said they suspectedsome people around the hotel. The SpecialAnti-Robbery Squad moved in, surroundedthe place and demanded to searcheverybody. It was in the process that twoguns and 12 live ammunition wererecovered in Faith Elefan's car.
