Kwara State Empowers Youth At Maiden Adolescent And Youth Conference.

In a significant step towards youth empowerment, the Kwara State Ministry of Youths Development successfully held its maiden edition of the Kwara Adolescent and Youth Conference on May 28th. This landmark event, aimed at nurturing young aspiring leaders, was marked by enthusiastic participation and notable addresses, underscoring Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq's dedication to youth welfare and development. The conference, a brainchild of the Ministry, saw an impressive lineup of distinguished guests. Among them was Dr. Dayo Israel, the National Youth Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), who delivered a stirring keynote speech. Dr. Israel emphasized the crucial role of rigorous preparation for leadership among youths, highlighting their significance in the collective growth of Nigeria. He passionately argued that the future of the nation hinges on the capabilities and involvement of its younger generation.Adding to the event's gravitas was the presence of the First Lady of Kwara State, Amb. Dr. Olufolake Abdulrazaq, who graced the occasion as the Mother of the Day. In her address, Dr. Abdulrazaq urged the youths to place their trust in the government's initiatives aimed at empowering them. She reiterated the administration's commitment to creating avenues for youth development and encouraged the participants to believe in the vision laid out by Governor Abdulrahzaq's administration.Other eminent personalities who attended included Hon. Rukayat Shittu and Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Zanna Sunoma, who collectively inspired the youth with their words and presence. Hon. Nafisah Buge, the Commissioner for Youths and convener of the conference, expressed her gratitude to the young attendees and Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq. She lauded the governor's unwavering support for youth initiatives and detailed the government's plans to further engage and empower the young populaceIn her closing remarks, Hon. Buge urged the youth to remain steadfast in their support for the Kwara State Government.
