This project marks the beginning of a new era in water transportation, offering a faster, cleaner, and more comfortable commute. The deployment of these ferries underscores our dedication to reducing traffic congestion and improving connectivity between communities. By saving hours lost in traffic, we are boosting economic prosperity and enhancing the quality of life for our residents. This initiative aligns perfectly with our THEMES+ agenda, promoting pollution-free mobility and integrating an intermodal transportation system. The new ferries operate on the Cowry Card payment system, ensuring seamless and efficient service for all users. We are not stopping here. An additional 25 high-capacity ferries will be fabricated in the second phase, further expanding our waterway routes and reducing turnaround times.
